La Garçonne

I think even the girliest of girls can agree that sometimes, it would be nice to think like a guy when it comes to putting an outfit together. Like, “I think I’ll wear grey today.” And instead of worrying about whether their outfit “pops”, they just layer all the grey things they have in their closet, AND they get to wear comfortable shoes. This outfit is my ode to that kind of tomboy – I mean – garçonne – nonchalance. Read More »

This Marcel Sweater from the cult favorite French brand Sézane is the perfect example of a wardrobe staple that can be dressed up or down, depending on my mood. I spend most of my days there in flip flops, a bikini, and some appropriate cover up, and no one blinks an eye! I picked up this street-ready caftan and was ready to go anywhere (with the addition of a few upscale accessories if needed). Read More »

Army (Green) Ready for Monday?

Mondays are not my favorite day of the week, and the only reason that I can think of is that it means the weekend is over and it’s time to get back to business. Luckily, my corporate lawyering days are over, so I can extend a casual vibe into the week with the help of a few carefully chosen accessories. Read More »
