In Residence at The Jefferson

My husband and I treated ourselves to a little staycation a couple of weeks ago atΒ The Jefferson, a five star boutique hotel in the heart of Washington, D.C. Beach-y Dreams

I recently discovered local designerΒ Lime & LeafΒ and fell in love with their nature inspired home decor. The company’s founders, Kari and Lori, share my great love of the beach, and they launched a line of products that perfectly reflects this sentiment. Their mission is to bring a taste of nature, in particular, beach life, into their customers homes. To do so, they translated familiar objects like seashells and starfish into fabric prints, and a crashing ocean wave or coral leaf into embroidery, for example.
